I absolutely love this. But I've found a bug. I have to restart Desktop Meadow everytime I turn off/on my monitors- because Dell does this annoying thing with their monitors now where they basically 'unplug' when turned off. So the shifting of resolutions created by this, causes all the sprites in Desktop Meadow to shift downwards and clip into the windows.
This also has a hidden unnamed process running in the background that keeps your computer from shutting down. You have to find the hidden process and delete the folder in order to delete it, it's pretty annoying but I did it.
nothing is showing but the task manager says it's running! tried restarting the exe file and my computer and everything else but it still won't show :( help please!
my anti virus stated that I shouldn’t run the program as it had malware or something, so it removed it from my computer and I’m afraid to download it again, but I really want to have it 😔
It's completely safe, I've had it for almost a month. Same goes for the desktop goose. It's fine to use. Just ignore your antivirus. If it's avast, uninstall. It makes it look as if everything is a virus.
Hey I downloaded this before realising that my monitor runs at the wrong aspect ratio (Can't fix this belive me ive tried) so the birds and plants clip through my windows.
I uninstalled it like you would a normal software and it's still here, ive looked through my files and its gone like I deleted it but I still have birds and plants. this is rather annoying and id like to know how I can fix this.
Idea! You could make it compatible with the goose, so goose can eat that grass and catch your mails, or either make a goose minigames! Great work btw!! :)

this is such a great idea! your desktop things are really fun, and I like that there are a lot more notes (like stranger pen-pals) that keep things interesting. unfortunately I can't play the game because I have a mac, but I hope others will enjoy it!!
i absolutely love this game! i couldn't spend anything on it but when i get some money online i most definitely will! Only two super tiny things that may be nice. It would be handy if we had a list of words you can't say and maybe if we got messages more often, other than that absolutely wonderful! my favourite thing on my laptop by far!
hey If you want a Mac version your gonna have to message the guy who made it samperson doesn't have a Mac so he can't make it yet a guy on reddit sent a Mac version to him of desktop goose thats why desktop goose is on Mac

I downloaded it via the itch app and there was no .EXE file at all!

Itch.io has protections against those things, your antivirus would also probably freak out if this was a virus

I scanned it not a virus or malware.
I also looked at the files it's litterer just mailboxes and birds.. and sending letters

mail comes rarely sometimes, settings is an exit button.
quick, use task manager to close the software manualy.

try restarting the computer

It shouldn't be... Try to reinstall and uninstall agian.
you might have to re-download it, go to settings and close it, then uninstall it.
right click the short cut and go to open file location and you can delete the foldure it's in.

the main reason i am postponing is that i have more freedom of what goes on on my pc in 7 than 10.

It is difficult to port something so complex to a Mac. Be patient.
