just noticed the cat paw hasn't been popping up on start up & trying to run it myself. encountering an issue where windows "protected my PC" (microsoft defender smartscreen may be the cause)
anyone else got this issue? if you know how to fix it, lmk
i bought it since it looked fun to mess around with but idk when i extract the files and tried to open to the application it says that the app was unrecognized and that my pc would be n risk but idk if thats normal
That's usual for every downloadable program. Click show more on the blue box and run anyway. After that the thing won't show up anymore. if that makes sense
Nothing was said about the system requirements for running this program on this page. After watching the trailer, I thought it would even run on a 32-bit system. Unfortunately, either it only supports 64-bit systems or it has something that is not compatible with my PC. In any case, this program did not work on my PC. So I would like to get my money back.
This is a lovely little program! I'd love see more customization in the future, like being able to apply a different colour to the paw part and the limb itself, and maybe patterns like stripes and spots 😺💜

It says i don’t have the correct permissions to extract/open the file :<< running/extracting as admin doesn’t work
delete the unzipped file and extract the zip file, then add it as administrator before opening it and boom, cat paw
this is so fun

this is made for personal use, because it's fun to have a cat paw mouse. spud tablet is for vtuber livestreams, which is a very different use-case.

You can create this with winforms. thats what desktop goose was built ontop of.
google "transparency winforms", that should get you started
