Pc cleaner software? Don't download CCleaner, try Glary Utilities! That's what I use and it's really useful. Oh and make sure to go to settings for disk clean up and uncheck cookies. You might log off from websites.
Here is a way to quit the app, go to your hidden icons button, click it, then you will see a blue flower, left click on it then it will give you an option to quit the app, after that you can uninstall easily!!!

4. Find the folder titled "Samperson" then click the folder titled "Desktop Meadow"
5. Scroll till you see "Uninstall" click it then an administrative pop-up will appear, click the left one.
6. Do a full shut down of your PC, before it lets you shut it down it'll say it will close 2 applications before you can shut down. Click yes. Then just open your PC again and it should be gone.
Hope this helps, and please stop saying this is a virus.

If you’re having an issue with your computer then you may want to review other software you may have installed on your computer. Because of the nature of the program putting something over your desktop, it’s possible some lesser known scanners may report a false positive saying it is suspicious, but there is nothing malicious in this program.

It will come up with a few pop-ups that have "Bug report" (or something i kinda. forgot!!) but it's very easy to uninstall and reinstall to fix it.
The app will still be running in the background whenever you close the pop-ups, you can just go to task manager and close those to uninstall the app or delete the folder completely. C:\Program Files (x86)\Samperson
I don't know much about Itch.Io but I'm sure if this was a virus it would have been removed by now. If you really feel unsafe with this app, I recommend Norton Anti Virus. It'll do a deep search to find whatever stupid virus or trojan is lurking on your pc.

I know that viruses and bypass antiviruses which is why I said it can do a full scan / deep search throughout the pc.
If you truly want to do something about this app then consider not whining in the comments about it and guarding it for days on end. Go contact Itch.io support or talk to the discord server about it.
This has been downloadable for almost an entire year now. If you have more proof about this being virus other than VirusTotal being your only lead consider bringing it to an influencer or something.

Anyways, I'll have proof cause when the mac version finally comes out, I will download it, and then the virus scanner will start working, and if it says "virus detected" then this thing is a virus. If it says none were detected it's PROOF this is safe!
Also, I'm wondering if the only reason there is none for mac is because macs have auto virus scans?!

Has anyone else's Desktop Meadow mail been acting up recently? Each time I click the bird to view mail, it just flies away and no message is brought up anymore. This has been happening for two days now, and my wi-fi connection is fine.
yeah, mine does that too!! also, i closed it for one second, and now it won't open. it says the program is still running, and if i want to close it, i need to press the icon on the bottom right. but the icon disappears everytime i try to click it!

Samperson is in the process of working on one however he has been a bit preoccupied with other things so the mac version of the meadow has taken a back seat, it will be released.... at some point, also it is a mac, app development on a mac is awful
the only way to do it is to set that monitor as the primary one settings display select the monitor you want scroll down check the "make this my main display" checkbox
It would be nice to have a options to have flowers and the mail box on top of the taskbar even tho you have a window that is maximized, anywho this hing is very cool!
This is great, though my one complaint is the plants aren't hidden when a program is fullscreen, which is annoying if your playing a game or watching a video fullscreen.
