No, I did it my computer is fine, holding esc does not remove them you need to open desktop goose a second time then press quit desktop goose to quit it.

you hold ESC for a few seconds on window or open the goose a second time and press quit desktop goose on mac to stop the goose (your curse)

Use something like Wavepad Audio Editor. I'm sure it will work!

There is a configuration file, you can mute all the sounds with it, you can also make or install mods.
