hi uhm i think my goose is broken cause it just walks off screen and doesnt come back i still hear its footsteps but it doesnt come back hes just been outside the screen for 10 minutes and never did anything then i turned the application off and still didnt come back
If you are downloading from itch.io desktop app so that won't work, download the .zip file from the web page.
EDIT: If you are having a pop up saying to pay for something so look at the top and you will find a button named "No thanks, just take me to the downloads" and just click on it, and your file will be automatically downloaded
It is in the mods folder in assets and it's supposed to be a mod that makes your desktop goose become one with the rainbow. To do this, you simply go to config.ini and change Inable Mods from False to True, and you do this by replacing False with True.

if it doesn't work then you could turn it of from task manager right click on the goose application and then press end task
that should settle it

for an easier way just open the file/folder that the goose is in and click "quit goose" :)

That is because you probably opened goose on itch then goose in you finder.
probably opened it twice, you can open it multiple times to have more than 1 goose

Yes, you can delete it There’s a file in there that can remove the goose If all else fails, you can always restart your computer I think

edit: apparently you need to hold esc to close it, and you can delete the exe file in the recycling bin to delete it

yes, just hold esc to stop it then delete the folder you ran the EXE from

why is it malaware
It isn't lol
it probably got flagged by Windows or another antivirus software. run the app on virustotal.com before using... Windows might let you use it then

IT'S NOT A VIRUS, it's your garbo antivirus false flagging it as malware.
use malware bytes instead, it's one of the better ones.
