Hey guys, this game can be run on mac with a little help. I've got it working on my mac. The trick is to install wine first then you can run the game through that. It will work on Mojave or older.
Launch the wine app in your application folder, a terminal should pop up
Then launch Desktop Goose through the terminal by calling “wine GooseDesktop.exe”. Note, you will need to navigate to the folder of the .exe file which is probably located in your downloads folder. i.e. “wine ~/Downloads/Desktop\ Goose\ v0.21/DesktopGoose.exe”
Please.Please.Please do it for macbook. My brother has a windows and it looks so fun. So if you want more customers, please. Us macbookers (we're not called that) would appreciate it SO much!!!
Hi, Does anyone know if there is a way to lower the volume of the goose (without lowering the volume for the whole computer) his honks are a bit too loud for me but i don't wanna have to turn down my whole computer. Thanks.
P.S I love this app and the little goose so much already. He's adorable and ive named him Charlie :).
On the taskbar there is a volume icon. Right click it and click volume mixer, then scroll to the side until you see GooseDesktop and you can lower it's volume without lowering everything else. You can also use this on other apps in the future if you need to! Hope that helps

I love this, but it seems to crash my computer as soon as it tries to pull up a meme or any window thing, might want to fix that..

how to do you activate wine. the website is unclear
First download the Installer for Wine stable for macos
Next open the installer in your downloads folder and install wine
Make sure to install 64 bit support
Then Download Desktop Goose
Unzip the Desktop Goose zip file

okay I download goose... I don't see my goose boy
okay i had this problem but i got him :D. so you have to extract the files, then open "Goose Desktop" and allow him to run. i hope that makes sense :)

Chromebook, Mac, and andriod/ios systems are not supported by the program
