A downloadable goose-sperience for Windows and macOS
HONK HONK, HEAR YE. I have created a goose for your desktop.
He'll nab your mouse, track mud on your screen... leave you a message, deliver you memes?
Play video games with a desktop buddy who will attack you if you poke him.
Fill out spreadsheets while your screen fills up with instances of Goose Notepad.
Supports MacOS versions 10.10+!

- Adds an official mod to let Desktop Goose play in leaf piles! See autumn.txt in the files for more!
*Mac doesn't support mods yet. Wait for 2023. :)
0.3 UPDATE:
- NEW, OFFICIAL MODDING API! Join the discord discord.gg/xZFRmPT and check the #goose-mods channel for more info on this :D
- YOUR OWN NOT-EPAD TEXTS! Add whatever notepad phrases you want, and the goose will pull them up!
- NEW CONFIG TOGGLES! Customize the goose's behaviour further, silence the audio, and more!
From 0.2+:
- Unlimited memes! Put whatever memes you want in the assets folder! Goose will bring them.
- Added GIF support!
- Config the goose! Alter properties in the config.goos file (open it in Notepad) to adjust his aggression!)

he told me nice work and i wrote in the notepad "im not doing work lil goose" hes the cutest and he brings memes and random notes when i close his meme he pulls my mouse hes soo cute but when people play muisic on yt can you make it so he dances and what does he step in when he goes off the screen?

yea pretty much you have to open task manager and then click on desktop goose and then click "end task" to fully close it

Thanks, I didn’t even think it would work with wine, I’ll have to try it out. Luckily I don’t use wayland.
Yeah I tried this on my old 32 bit laptop a few years ago and it worked just fine

I love it! The Goose is so cute
BUG: Whenever one of my friends streamed gameplay with the goose ok screen, everytime the goose took a step, sound would bug out. its like pressing the entrance of sound, like you making a noise and tapping your mouth or whenever you play the flute, you interrupt the sound for a few milliseconds before it comes back on. The goose interrupted the sound about 3-4 timed per second, which is her stepping rate. This happened on a Discord call, on fullscreen sharing. And it only happened to me, not the person hosting.
