Wanted to try the goose, and decided to try playing a game with him. Really fun little addition to the desktop. Great job, you can see some goose antics in the video

Okay so I downloaded the Desktop Goose for my Mac and it was working great until I replaced the memes in his folder. When I started him back up he was only on the screen for two minutes or so before walking off, and he hasn't come back.
ok so really good idea: make it to phones! like a widget or something? the goose will sometimes knock on the phone screen while the phone thinks you touched your screen there. it would be really cool and as how popular this goose is i believe you can make it possible! good luck.
hold on, I can't have my duck, I mean goose, to come out, when its on 0.3 it just does not open and it open to exract the files, I tryed uninstalling it and then installing it again but the same thing happen, pls help, but wait, I can only open it from into the file, what? Why that?
I actually did this successfully. Open the contents of it. Go to the "Resources" folder. You'll see a lot of sound files. Download the sound you want, and name it the same as one of the files in the folder. Then just switch. Open the goose again, and every now and then, he'll play your sound.

Latest update requires .NET? This kills it working in Wine.
i’m interested in this but i won’t download unless it has a killswitch/off button because i don’t always want a goose messing with my computer

I'm having the same issue. I tried redownloading the app and it made no difference.
Is it PNG?
Is the file too big?
Is the resolution too high?
it could be happening if you have multiple monitors

go in the terminal and type killall "Desktop Goose" , that's what I did when esc didn't work
Happy to see updates rolling out! Hope a fix for multi monitor gaming is planned for the future.

I want to get this so baaad. But its apparently not compatible with my version of Mac. I have 10, it said it works only for 13 or later...

Thanks, it was somehow able to download, though nothing was updated. Now i have a lil goose being a butt hole on my screen... and i love it.

To get rid of it - Go to task manager and choose to stop the program

open up task manager, and close the file. it deletes the goose and every pictures

you can run linux, then run windows through that but its pretty unconventional this way

install windows on top of linux then launch it and bazinga
